Cadmium Bearing Brazing Alloys

Cadmium bearing alloys have the lowest brazing temperature, narrow melting range and excellent fluidity. they also have high mechanical strength and are known for their resistance to corrosion in Chlorine, sulfur and steam environment. Cadmium fumes are toxic, and as the result, these materials should only be used in well-ventilated areas. These alloys are available in different shapes such as wire, strip, ring and powder. Chemical and physical characteristics of these alloys are shown in table.
